Delete your Tagalong account
Fastest way: in the app
Open Tagalong, go to Settings, and choose Delete account. Your account is deleted right away.
No access to the app? Request it here
Enter the email you sign in with. We'll email that address to confirm the request came from you, then delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, email address, username, display name, and photo
- Your Venmo username, if you added one
- Messages and photos you posted
- Your tag ons, claims, and trip memberships
- Trips you created that have no other members
What stays, and why
- Trips you created that still have other members pass to one of them, so their plans aren't lost.
- Shared cost records other members rely on keep the amount, but no longer show your name.
- Itineraries you published to Explore already have names, dates, and costs removed. Unpublish them first if you want them gone too.
- Deleted data clears from our backups within a further 30 days.
