Group travel, in one place

Book it once.
Everyone tags along.

Tagalong is one home for a trip's plans, people, and money. When someone books the flight or the hotel block, the rest of the group tags on with one tap, and the costs split themselves.

Free. Works in any browser today. iPhone and Android apps are in testing.
How it works

The group chat and the spreadsheet, retired.

1

Plan by the day

Morning, afternoon, evening. Nobody needs to argue about a 2:15 start time three months out.

2

Tag on

See who is on which flight, which room, and which dinner, and join the one you want in a tap. Or claim it and say you'll book it.

3

Settle up

Bookings land in a shared ledger that splits itself. Request what you're owed in Venmo when the trip is over.

Everything the trip needs

One app, every person on the trip.

Trip

Every plan, day by day, with the faces of who's in on each one.

Map

The hotel, the boat launch, the restaurant. Pinned where they are.

Chat

A chat that belongs to the trip, not one more thread in your phone.

Split

Who paid, who owes, and a Venmo request one tap away. Tagalong never touches your money.

Explore

Borrow a real itinerary from a group that already did the trip, including what didn't work.

Next year

Duplicate an annual trip. The structure rolls forward with last year's picks as a starting point.

Invites

Your friends don't have to download anything to join.

Send a link. They open it, pick a name, and they're on the trip. The whole group is in within an afternoon, not whenever the last person finds the app store.

Phone beta

Get the iPhone or Android app early.

We're adding groups with a real trip on the calendar first.

Questions

Fair questions.

Is Tagalong free?

Yes. Planning, invites, chat, tagging on, and the ledger are free.

Does Tagalong hold our money?

No. Tagalong keeps track of who paid and who owes. The money itself moves between you in Venmo or however your group settles up.

How does Tagalong make money?

When you book through some links in the app, we may earn a commission from the travel company. The app shows that next to the link before you tap it.

Who can see our trip?

Only the people you invite. A trip stays private unless you choose to publish it to Explore, and publishing removes names, dates, and costs.

Does everyone need an account?

Anyone who wants to tag on, chat, or be in the split signs in with their email. There's no password to remember.
